This event was a fabulous learning opportunity for Dentists and the entire Team and it was one of Gary’s speaking highlights of 2012. Two principles that Gary feels is necessary to become a Thriving Dentist is the concept of being part of a community and the idea of having FUN! Let me address the concept of community first. The truth is that dentistry can be hard work and it’s not unusual for Dentists to feel a sense of isolation as they practice their profession. Being part of a broader community of like-minded Dentists is SO important because that community can provide a connection to reduce the sense of isolation. Today we are very fortunate to have Dr. Mike Maroon (or Dr. Mike as he prefers) as a Special Guest on the Thriving Dentist Show. Dr. Mike is one of the founders of ACE and has been a leader in the dental profession for over two decades. Dr. Mike also provides a powerful example of someone who believes in the spirit of community and the idea of having fun.
